FYI:

To help ensure the safety of our employees and reduce the possibility of further manufacturing delays, we are temporarily closing our Triad manufacturing facility in Portland due to COVID-19. We are working toward safely reopening by early August and anticipate a return to standard production times no later than mid-August.

This closure will impact shipping times on all Triad built-to-order products, including Custom, Home Theater, Soundbars, Subwoofers, and Wood Speakers. Please note that Outdoor, Distributed Audio Series, Garden Array, Omni Subs, R-Series, Open and Sealed Rounds, and all Portland-built Triad products listed under “Ready-To-Ship” are NOT impacted.

We will reach out to you if additional information becomes available, but if you have immediate questions or concerns, please reach out to your individual sales rep.

This move cost them $11,000 today from me alone. I got the paint codes from the designer literally an hour before I received the email. Talked to the client and they are not willing to wait, considering chances are they won’t reopen until September if we’re lucky. They accepted the difference by going with Jame’s

Sucks though

Covid or the rioting? Either one is a valid excuse for shutting down. Of course, proper city management could have prevented the latter.

One of those things made the other worse than it was so I believe the answer is clear.

Obviously, you can't read. It's in the damn heading.

Nothing is shut down due to the protests. Stop listening to Rush and his lies.

As one who has threatened us with thread closure for posting political crap, that is pretty amazing coming from you, sir.

Are you aware that Portland had “peaceful protesters” for 50 something nights in a row?

Lies indeed.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

My guess is that someone in the factory got sick with COVID-19.

Yeah, I'm sure the employee's are thrilled with the idea of having their cars damaged, and of being involved in the pleasant protests that are going on.

Nah, that cannot possibly be the problem.

Life is calm, serene, and peaceful Portland. Just ask the mayor. It was all good util the president sent in those thugs with no identification (other than POLICE) on their uniforms.
