Putting together a proposal that includes one of these, never done a Frame tv.

The display specced shows as a 2020 model. All of the listings I see for the 15m One Connect extension cable show as "2019 only".

Is there one for the 2020 models?

Thanks.

Just call your distributor. I wish Samsung would pick a freakin connector and stick with it.

In case anybody is curious, no, the extension cables are different between the 2019 and 2020 frame tvs.

And the extension cable does not exist as of yet, apparently delayed due to stupid China virus.

Just did this exact same TV and scenario for my personal home. The 2019 cable does work for the 2020 (new) panel. There is not a new 2020 cable. However, one caveat, the longer distance cable is a tad thicker than the in-the-box-one and it will NOT push into the valley/groove all the way and sticks out and additional +/-4mm.

Comprende?

I'm just curious why you think that will get a correct answer?
As a matter of fact, I bet he DID call his distributor and they are the ones who told him it is a different cable.
While we have an installer in this thread, that has actually worked with a 2020 model and has a 2019 cable - said it works. Unless he is running a high fever, drunk, or something else.

Considering how absolutely clueless most of the employees at distributors tend to be; I would bet my money on IRkiller.

Bingo.... Distributor told me that it was indeed a different cable and that the correct one was unavailable with no pending ship date.

Thank you for the "in the real world" experience. Much appreciated.

I guess I should have been more thorough. The model number of the 50ish ft. cable that I used is the Samsung VG-SOCR85. The back of the box states that it is compatible with 8k/4k Q90r or Q900r 2019 TV's only. Our disty knew this and it was Wave.

Sorry to hijack a little bit. What is the length of the supplied cable for the TV as well as what is the size of connectors on each end? We have a conduit (1-1/2") in place and just wondering if I have enough length on the cable to locate the connect box away from the TV.

The standard One Connect cable that comes with the TV is 5 meters long and the connector that plugs into the box is about 1" x 1/2" and will pass through 1-1/4" or larger conduit.  The connector at the TV end is much larger.

The optional cable if you need it is 15 meters long.

So glad I came back in and saw this update. There are two 2019 cables, I had ordered the wrong ones. Had to reorder on that P/N.

I just did a 50" (qn50ls03taf) this week. The "2019" cable works.
