Suera - best but high dollar
Sunbrite - OK selection
Mirge Vision
Sealoc

What other players are there. I have a client on a budget - they just want 32". They all seem to be over 2k. Any other players out there I can resource out there? This is for a partial shade scenario. Not full sun, but also subject to a lot of ambient light in the middle of the day. There are some from Mirage Vision that are less than 2k, but have about 450 nits. This wouldn't really be sufficient in this case, correct? I've done outdoor TV's, but not a ton of them. The full shade TV's are pretty easy because there is so much shade. This unit would be under an over hang, and not get direct sunlight, but the overhang is only about 3 feet, and then it's open air.

Samsung, think they’re referring to the series as “Terrace”, and believe they have a 32”

If it is in open light, many of the entry-level sets from the above manufacturers are literally unwatchable during the day. They will get completely washed out. We made this mistake before with a entry-level Sunbrite 43" in a somewhat-covered area. I would make sure your client knows this. As long as you set the expectation, it may be easier to sell the better set or at least ensure that you don't install a TV and have them say "Hmmm...that doesn't look great."

The new Samsung Terrace are 2000 nits and IP55 rated but sizes are only 55", 65" & 75".

The 65 & 75 are supposed to be available this month and the 55" sometime in June.

Nah, they’re direct to consumer- and their silicone/ caulk skills are way too generous.

That's hilarious! Some of these TVs (names omitted to protect our reseller's license) definitely look homemade.

Not sure about the European part but i added one in a takeover job last summer and it used the Sharp IP driver for C4 integration. The newer pieces use a mix of manufacturers. Oh, and the one I worked with was a plastic cheap POS with typical crappy Sharp pic quality. I would NEVER recommend one of those things. EVER

ha ha yeah, I used a Miragevision and same thing. It's funny they made a business model out of cualking up cheap consumer TV's. Also they include a small cooling fan that runs 24/7. I asked them why they don't use a thermostat, and they say well it's another point of failure. Right. You don't think that tiny fan is going to fail running high speed 24/7? It sounds great for a resi patio. Well, when you cut the budget that's what you get. For the reduced price, it can be a good fit. My customer is happy with it and that's all that matters.

Thanks for the information. That's very helpful for my plan of installation TV outside(patio). I'm not going to buy an outdoor TV, that's expensive, out of my budget. One of my friends recommended me buying an outdoor tv enclosure for my home LCD tv. I have looked into some suppliers in google, Armguad, Deertv, it looks good. Well, may I have your suggestion? I appretiate it.
