The one that was at the top of this site on the day I posted-

[Link: cepro.com]

From the article-

"All three brands fared well in the recent CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis:

Anthem is the No. 1 brand of home theater preamps/processors, with a 30% marketshare (tied with Integra for the top spot). Anthem is the No. 4 AVR brand with a 31% marketshare."

I thought that maybe, whoever might have read my comment would check it out. It was in CEPro, after all but I guess I ignored that as the source.

Just means that 30 out of these ce pro 100 companies use Anthem in their projects. Does not mean they use Anthem in all their projects and also it is surely not Anthem’s market share which should be tiny (less than 1%?).

Integra probably has a similar market share.

Not here. Integra is second behind Denon here. Occasional Yamaha, rare to see Pioneer or Anthem.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

AVR sales do vary massively region to region, country to country.
Although, a lot of the figures thrown around the industry are pretty hard to believe! I will say, Anthem doesn't exist in my corner of the globe... used to, but the new distributor has decided to keep it a secret that only they know about.

Cunning...
This industry is not getting cheaper and cheaper, we're simply convincing ourselves that we have to push the cheapest option to customers.

I have never seen an Anthem outside of a trade show.

To some extent I think that products carried by a store depends on the local reps. I notice that a rep will have a group of stores as clients and they tend to carry all or most of his products. There is a rep in our area that we don't get along with and we carry none of his products. It's not a big deal because we don't like any products in his lines. Briefly we had to deal with him after a product that we had carried for years, fell into his lineup. He attempted to strong arm us into carrying more of his lines when we tried to order. Fortunately, the manufacturer pulled out after a while.

And they have decided not to buy them! This is very interesting!

I wouldn't buy anything with PlayFi on-board either...
