Could be a bad remote as Tucker suggested.  I've never used a Pepwave router with a URC system though, so that could be your issue.

I have Two TRC-1080 on the same Wifi setup as per your recommendation.

The Problem is occuring on both the devices. So Remotes are OK.

How would that affect the fact that "lag" means "short delay" (with the reasonable assumption that things continue or resume after the lag), which IS NOT what you have if you have to remove and replace the batteries?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Have you ever seen a TRC1080 let alone work with one?

I point out that OP seems to be asking about something that's not the problem. That's a communication issue. It's a communication issue, no matter how many TRC1080s I've worked with.

Is it on their recommended list?

Have you got this list? The tech guy at URC hadn't heard of it before,* but said he'd pass my message on to the trainers.

*Reinforcing that "we've never heard of THAT before!" might just be part of their script!

Hi,

We use Luxul routers.  I've also had good luck with Ubiquiti.

based on your other topic, I'd try moving the MRX15 over to the router, at least temporarily, to see if the managed switches are the issue.

We no longer do this setup, but it used to consist of an Edgerouter POE with Picostation M2HP access points.   Later we started using Luxul APs with the same router, then just switched to Luxul for everything due to their "partnership" with URC.  We had some issues getting the Edgerouter configured sometimes, but it worked fine once we got past that.

Now we do Luxul Routers with Ruckus Unleashed access points and that has been the best combination for us so far.

Had the EXACT same problem in two URC TC/Ruckus Unleased households. Hewhat The WiFi Chipset used in the 1080's is not the latest and greatest. As such the remotes have tendency to wander over to another Ruckus AP in the house that is not the closest. You will notice that in the remote setup window you will see multiple listings of the same SSID, and that when the remote is acting up a lower WiFi signal level reading and sometimes an explanation mark that indicates that it cannot connect to the controller.

Here is what you do. With the latest version of unleashed you can set up (5) AP groups. Create two Groups. "All" and "URC Room Name". Create new SSID's for each Remote (or groups of remotes). Assign the AP closest or strongest with that SSID. Leave it off all others. Now gointo the TRC1080 menu, delete the WiFi settings and join the new SSID. Once you have everything working you can hide the SSID. Take good documentation. Also you can enter the information into Accelerator for further use.
