Check all your DNS settings as well as all the other IP settings. That fixed this issue once for me. Will do! Thank you!

we have over 70 customers on Ovrc as of today, and I can tell you that it helped us A LOT. very stable network, i think we only had 2 RMAs ever. the largest network we have is pre-school with about 15 APs, no issues at all. I am also not impressed about Wi-Fi range. we tend to use like 2 or 3 Aps in a small combo that we would probably use 1 airport extreme years ago. I am not sure if they are not "as strong" as the others, but we spec more units, reduce the power to minimize interference and everything works well. we did however tried a Linksys Velop system in a job we were concerned about Araknis performance, and we did get better coverage and speeds on the Velop. so you ask, "why you dont use Velop then ? " well, we did install a few of them and we had SEVERAL calls about them going offline after a power outage, losing it's configuration out of the blue, etc. so we stick to araknis for now.

The best practice is widely thought to be as many small (or standard units with the power turned down) AP's as possible - ensuring that hand-off is as good as it can be... then, Bob's your Uncle and Mary's your Aunt... Customers who want single high power units are probably customers for Netgear gaming routers :-)

This industry is not getting cheaper and cheaper, we're simply convincing ourselves that we have to push the cheapest option to customers. #makesonosgreatagain |

I found some of the range issues wasn’t the fault of the APs. It was the fault of the device (specifically iPhones and iPads) not being able to reach back to the AP. In my own home I ran into some issues at the farthest points when running just one AP and connecting to the 5g network. I added a second AP and turned the power down on both APs. This put an end to the problems and improved speeds

What FINS said! Phones and tablets are the weak point of many WiFi systems, but the 'marketing icon' at the top of the customers screen will tell them that everything is fine at their end. When in reality, the issue is that the phone or tablet is happily receiving data, but is simply unable to communicate and send the info back to the Access Point due to tiny little antennas that are designed to fit in a phone... next to a battery... and be transported in your pocket or bag!

Lately I've been seeing issues with the OVRC portal saying "lost connection please reload" Presently, OVRC is showing some customers having devices with no connection with some customers having some of their devices connected. OVRC wiki

OVRC wikisince yesterday, OvrC is going thru some updates. Appears many manufacturers are having AWS issues, so they are not alone.

PSS - thanks for the original post and others for chiming in with your comments. A few items I wanted to provide some clarity and insight.
Regarding the 110 wifi router, we designed that product to target budget projects with one to two room condo or apartments that require no additional WAPs. For any projects that require more than one WAP, we recommend using the 110 non-wifi router or the 310 router with the Araknis access points as fast roaming is not supported with the 110 wifi router. And yes, we are working on a future firmware that will significantly reduce the 20 second refresh with config changes to the router.
On the topic of WAPs and coverage, dunnersfella is absolutely right. The best practice is always to install a larger number of WAPs with power turned down for optimal coverage and performance. The general rule of thumb we recommend our dealers is to install one access point for every ~1000 sq ft of space. In addition to this, newer WAPs are going to generally have lower power output as regulated by the FCC.
I'm glad many of you do find OvrC to be essential in your operations. We are continuing to evolve the platform to help dealers become more efficient in supporting customer systems remotely and reduce the number of truck rolls. OvrC has gone through massive growth in the last few years, supporting more than 200 thousand locations and many millions of products connected to our cloud.
With this growth comes the challenges of scale and performance. This is why we are currently working on a big update to the OvrC platform, where we are basically rewriting significant portions of the platform. This project is well underway and will be completed within the next few months. We can't wait to show you all the improvements and new features that will come with the update.
Regarding the OvrC service interruption today, our teams have fully restored the platform by about 6pm EST today. Thanks for your patience!
Thanks everyone!

I use Araknis for all our wired network needs and Ruckus for all wireless. We were a Ruckus house before we started using Araknis and have never had issues so we are sticking with them. We used Packedge and Bakpak for a couple years and it caused more truck rolls than it solved, especially their P8 power controllers. We have been using Araknis, Wattbox and OVRC for a few years now and it has been rock solid. I highly recommend them.

Any one start uploading their WAP's (thank goodness I pretty much have only put in 500 or 700's) to new WAP cloud control-using firmware 2.1?
My only issue which tech support on Friday did not know about was the power levels on each WAP defaulted to a custom level of -25db after moving them to cloud control. They seem to stay at settings that were set after upgrade, however once put in cloud the new custom levels appear.
I have one job I had to adjust them for best roaming and now they are all at -25db 😧.
I also get update failed messages for certain WAP's in OVRC but they eventually indicate they were updated. So it seems like this could be move in the right direction for them--to get back some sales from most/some/none of us who have moved to EERO.

Thread killer back again...
As you may know about OVRC and network scannning via Araknis 310 Router, I'm wondering if anyone has seen this unusual situation:
Ubiquity Nanobeam5AC units on network and OVRC sees them as a possible "UNIFI" switch. The default credentials are listed "ubnt" "ubnt" and my network is set to scan every hour. My log from Nanobeam indicates:
"Oct 24 05:54:22 dropbear[28642]: Child connection from 192.168.1.1:38699 Oct 24 05:54:22 dropbear[28642]: Exit before auth: Exited normally Oct 24 05:54:31 dropbear[28663]: Child connection from 192.168.1.1:38719 Oct 24 05:54:33 dropbear[28663]: Bad password attempt for 'ubnt' from 192.168.1.1:38719"
So I turned off network scanning and put in proper password via OVRC, I wonder if there is a way to not have this integration per device. I was having some connection issues and wonder if this non stop logging in is the cause. I'm not seeing the error messages every hour but now have lost my scanning for other devices--what am I missing?
