Hey guys and gals, I'm done with URC and I have some inventory I want to dump. Not a bunch, four or five remotes, base stations, lighting control and miscellaneous accessories. I don't really want to part it out and spend all that time and effort, where's the best place to dump all this stuff?

You know there is a market place section on this forum board. It is at the very bottom of all the sections.
There is also a section on IP forums, if you didn't want to post public.

The other usual suspects are eBay, etc.

That said, I like getting used URC remotes for backups and people that can't/won't spend the money on new ones. I find them where ever and try to get ones that are like new (or near like new).
But right now I have a bunch of used instock; more than I would like to have. Depending on what it is and the price you want, I still might be interested in taking it all off your hands. Total Control or CCP?

I dont think there is a place to sell it all unless you want to go like 50% of cost. Parting it out is the best way to make your money back.

Put it on ebay, offer free shipping, price it slightly lower than what anyone else has the same model listed for.

My recent experience with a bunch of old stuff pulled from a project was that the base stations sold fast. All gone within 2 days. Buyers would message asking if i had more. The remotes moved slow. One is still listed with no offers.

To move them on ebay, price them slightly lower than what anyone else has SOLD the model for.

Be sure to note that software is required to program these; the manufacturer provides this software only to dealers; and you will not provide the software.

All this assumes that when you say DUMP you don't mean DUMP.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Software is required, unless it's an MX500, right?

Want one?

Yes. I stated that because you should state it if you're selling the product on ebay. If you don't state that they can't get the software, they can't say "I didn't know" and demand a refund.

MX500? Nope. It's a big waste of time since it's you can't save the programming in a computer file. It was ahead of its time at one point long, long ago, but no more.

I remember you posting that you have one and use it- if that one goes bad, you'll rue this day, for declining. RUE IT!

I just want it gone, $500 plus shipping. Everything in the boxes are new and the base stations are new. Only used stuff is the mx800 and the mx890.

You misremember. I carry a Pronto TS1000 but a recent client had an MX500.As I said, it's a total waste now to program an MX500.

Lol, not so much. I'm trying to get rid of stuff, not collect more stuff I don't need. There's over $400 worth of lighting control in that batch. Somebody will snatch it up. If not llI play this game for another week and then I'll throw it in the trash.
