has the video switching time improved? Tried it when it first came out and took about 8 seconds. For a sports bar, switching needs to be instant. Thinking about trying this on a small residential job since its already loaded with ovrc stuff.

I foresee prices coming down as market share grows.

I don't know about prices going down...Snap is buying up the competition. I keep seeing my prices going up.

You may want to check your managed switch settings . I have MOIP at home connected / managed via UNIFI switch. I have noticed that switching time very depending on MOIP RX unit settings - " pass-thru " vs. " scaling " . With scaling turned on switching time is about 2.5 - 3 seconds, in pass - thru mode it takes about 1 - 1.5 seconds longer.
The only thing I find slightly annoying is the actual switching process. "Standard " HDMI switch when changing sources shuts off original source immediately ( switches to black or blue screen ) , stays black for few seconds, then it switches to a new source.
MOIP on the other hand stays on the original source for 2-3 seconds , freezes for another 0.5 sec, then it goes a new source. As as result it makes you want to press remote button again as it feels like nothing happens / switch is not working . Again, minor but slightly annoying .

Faster switching is coming.

Not sure your set up with an 8 second delay, thats way to long. Like others have said, could be the config.
