We are using our first SG 350 switch with Just Add Power. We have used the SG300 in the past with no issues. The switch immediately shuts down when we connect the network to port 1. The switch cannot be reached. I think there is something wrong with the DHCP feature. If we factory reset the switch, and give a computer a static ip in the 192.168.1.0 range we can access the switch on 192.168.1.254. As soon as we plug the network into port 1, the switch shuts down.
If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know. I've stayed up all night trying to figure this out.
Thanks.

Do you mean port 1 as in the first actual port on the switch? Or port 1 in the JAP config file?
When configuring JAP you need to leave a port or two open at the end of beginning strings for connectivity. Maybe try connecting to the last port on the switch..?

Is your network uplink coming from another switch??
If so, there is a port setting (I forgot what its called though) that will shutdown that particular port when it senses another switch. It's a "security" feature.

Did you run the latest JAD config on the switch?
