Shout out to Paul here for all to see.

Paul did my site approx 1.5 - 2 yrs ago. He inherited the hosting service I was using (midphase).
It used to be good but slowly went downhill. I battled with issues off and on for the past year.
Emails not working, tons of spam, etc...
Finally, my emails and website were shut down because I ignored the renewal invoice and thought I had more time.

Figuring this was a good time to investigate moving the hosting service before I paid for another year of issues I emailed Paul.

We exchanged a couple of emails detailing the situation and before I knew it he was working on moving the site.

He migrated the site to new hosting, had everything set up for me and within an hour or so I was back in business.

If you guys havent been in touch yet, you should. Paul will work with you and design a site as well as take care of the hosting, maintenance and SEO.
He has always been there when I need him and because of murphy's law, it's usually a last minute thing.

Thanks Paul.

Had the same issue when anhosting was phased out and midphase took over. I was a customer there for almost ten years. I finally moved my sites over to dreamhost. So far so good.

I had mine setup awhile back with anhosting as well. I let my site lapse but hung on to my domain name, I got notices when it needed to be renewed so I did. I didn’t get the last one but didn’t realize it and went to reactivate my site and found google took my domain name and it’s available for 1000.00 now
Thanks midphase!

I really don’t want to spend a grand to get it back. May have to change it up a bit and start over.

I let one lapse and getting it back was a ransom deal. Used a second domain name for a year, and on a whim, was browsing namecheap.com and found my original one was available for, well for cheap.

Keep trying over time, maybe they will decide there is no interest and release it.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

There are guys who make a lot of money doing this...It's crazy..They scrape expiring domains, buy them (GoDaddy does it too), and they'll sell them back to you at a crazy price. If you don't buy it back, if the site was generating enough traffic, they'll contact a competitor of yours and have the site redirect to them...for a fee obviously...It's a really sh!tty thing to do in my opinion, but they don't care.

That's why you guys should switch your hosting over to me. I'm not going to turn your site off.  I'm going to call you and make sure you've received the call.

I also maintain everything for the site for you. The plugins, updates, security, firewall, back-ups.

If any of you guys need help, let me know.  I'm happy to help you out.

Back to the topic at hand.

Paul is just great at what he does...you can find bug guys out there that do things for our industry but hard to find a guy who just "gets it" the Paul does. Did very nice work at a reasonable cost at my former company and that was like hearding cats (management committee).

If you need a website refresh or want to drive more traffic...call Paul...simple as that

I get so many telemarketing calls that I rarely even answer the phone...Send me an email or text me.  But I just checked, my voicemail isn't full (if you're talking to me)

Could have been worse. One of us could have told a guy that we were helping his wife to plan his murder. LMAO 😂😂

Nice! Like his work too. That last line conjures a Primus song for me...
