Does anyone know if Unifi cameras will work with Control4? Is there a driver? I've searched around but no definite answer. I know black wire sells a driver but I want to know from someone who had done it. If so, is it reliable, easy to install, etc. We have a client who wants them because they already have them at other locations.

Thanks.

I’ve only seen them work when running through a blue iris software nvr.

Thanks. I read that. I'm going to try to sway him to use something more compatible.

The guy I talked to at the CEDIA booth said their cameras are not ONVIF and only work with their NVR or the new gen 2 plus cloud key running the unifi video software

I've never used it but there is a driver for Ubiquiti's NVR - if you use one of those you could theoretically support the cameras, but maybe that's a step too far.

The NVR driver allows you to get the camera video streams from the Unifi V1 NVR.

You can always request a trial and test the driver out.

Driver: IP Camera (fixed, with H264) [DriverWorks]

I have been successfully using this driver with my UniFi NVR and can view both the RTSP H264 Stream URL and the Snapshot URL working simultaneously.

I recently upgraded to UniFi Protect and can get the RTSP H264 Stream URL and the Snapshot URL working individually but not simultaneously.

With the cameras in standalone mode I am able to view the RTSP H264 Stream URL and the Snapshot URL simultaneously but no NVR.

Does anyone else have this setup and have it working?
