What ordering platform is ordering from multiple suppliers?  Can you seriously not see the seriousness of the question?

Is it really that hard to understand? Or are you just being a dick for the sake of it as you've questioned me on multiple shit in the past? Multiple lines means from MULTIPLE SUPPLIERS. If I NEED expedited shipping on one line from one supplier and do not need expedited on another line from another supplier. It's not that hard to understand the question!!!!

i am an equal opportunity asshole!!! i have never singled you out for anything, i dont know you at all, so it would be weird to single you out. i really dont know any other times i have singled you out, but i havent spent a lot of time here lately either. that being said, you specifically asked per item! a better way to state would have been per supplier. Right?

"Scared money don't make no money"

Portal has it's glitches but so does your cell phone. You don't toss away the technology because it doesn't work all the sometimes. Those of you complaining, don't buy it, or build something better. You sound like the A/V customer: "my system did't turn on this one time so it sucks."

Nothing is perfect, but when you have the founder answering questions, that shows a company that cares.

Thanks Kirk for the responses. Let's me know, as your customer, that you care. Your tech support people are awesome.

We run drivercentral.io for free and still get complaints. Haters, hate.

And Mac knows socialism when he sees it!!!
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Mac,

I honestly don't mind paying for the Portal Service, but the new Portal site -- IMHO -- produces inferior reports, and that's what I'm upset about.

I think what it really comes down to is that this completely came out of left field and no warning.

If the purchasing/ordering had its kinks worked out and there was notice given that this change was coming like next quarter for those who don't hit the numbers, then I think this would have been received much different.

I have some more info regarding Portal that they have not been very clear on.

If you are a casual user, i.e. not paying $50 per month for proposals, the 4 proposals per month are a *very misleading* number. Depending on proposal creation timing and submittal, you could be looking at 2 usable proposals per month, not 4.

For example, you create a proposal On August 25th and are waiting for changes from a customer. Then you submit the same proposal on September 10th. Believe it or not, that proposal is counted twice because you created it in one month and then submitted or printed it the next month. This was confirmed by Portal.

In my opinion, It should be much, much simpler. You create a proposal, it counts as one of the 4. That's it. Every time you create a new proposal it should be counted. Editing, printing, copying, submitting, etc should not matter.

I'm not trying to give the Portal folks a hard time. I think Portal - especially the old Portal -- is really great. But if they want it to succeed they need it to be a lot more reasonable. The paid system they have come up with is highly flawed, and unnecessarily complicated.

Just my 02. Cents.

Don't be a dick.

I just created a pdf proposal where information is formatted badly and looks unprofessional and the Prepared by Info is completely blank.

What browser are you using. I was shocked when I had similar issues and they said it is recommended to use Chrome only. I was using Safari. Switching to Chrome did fix my issue
