Does "ordering" Sonos through portal count towards your monthly total?  You can add Sonos to an order, but cannot actually order Sonos, at least not if a direct dealer.  You still have to go to your Sonos dealer store and place the order.

It's possible you may see an announcement very soon about Sonos. A little birdy told me that they are going to integrate directly to Portal (vis EDI) and treat them as an official ordering platform.

Definitely need the ability to select shipping times/methods from different suppliers.  If I were to place the order I have on my portal account right now (assuming I could order Sonos through the site), I would need to add expedited shipping to Sonos and standard for the rest which comes in 1 day anyhow.

Presently yes, but it's a little more difficult. You need to create the order in Portal and then as a direct Sonos dealer go place the order in their portal, then send us the invoice to show you made the order with them.

Not sure if you meant per item or per vendor. The order is broken out by vendor so you can select shipping "expedited or regular" per vendor. Can also state other instructions via the comments section.

I’ve used portal just for submitting orders and cash back. Never for a proposal.

I ordered some planter speakers via Portal on Thursday.  Friday my distributor rep emailed me to tell me that the speakers are $17 more each, do I still want to order them?  How often are the prices updated on portal?

Obviously not very frequently. It's the reason I stopped using portal. Noticed on the one proposal that was accepted, all my pricing was way out of whack. I ended up having to eat a good amount of profit to actually pay for the materials. Didn't bother placing the order through portal either.
