Hearing about success and overcoming is always a welcome thing.

Keep going Casey, we are with you!
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Glad your recovery is still strong. My son is an alcoholic, who has been in recovery for about 6 years. Stay strong.

Thanks guys. The thing about addicts is they tend to be intelligent, but also stubborn. It takes most people several tries before getting it. Everyone has to find their own path.

Things are good. With a CEPro top 100 company now (actually number 50 this year) and moved to sales a few months ago. So no more attics and crawl spaces for my old back.

Congrats on the new job and Sobriety. Addiction is tough because we literally argue with ourselves every day about it. The problem with arguing with ourselves is that we know what the other party knows. Keep at it.

I recently moved out of the attic crawl space world myself. Our backs will be much happier.

I sort of know what you are dealing with.

I was drinking pretty heavily for a while, but I really dialed it back a few years ago. Now I just have the occasional drink with dinner and really limit myself at social occasions. Moderation can be just as tough as abstinence sometimes.

It's good to hear that you've got it going on.

One of these days you need to come down to the beach and we'll talk sh**, and pig out on some good fresh shrimp....

Well, I’m going to take you up on that soon. Recently made another change that means I don’t have to check with anyone if I want to take a road trip.

Congrats on your move too. I hope you’re enjoying yours as much as I am. Self arguing is the worst thing one with addiction issues can do. Because you’re right, we know how to beat ourselves in an argument.

Fins,
Stay strong! You've got the strength to do it!

That is awesome, good stuff Maynard.

Was never much of a drinker, wild wood weed more of my thing and I guess I was lucky in that one day I had a bag in my sock and I took it out and said, I don't want to do this anymore and from that moment forward 25 years ago never had the desire.

I went from can't function without it to functioning without it in one day. I can be around people smoking it and it does not interest me in the least and I don't give people shit who do either, don't care.

Good on ya man!
