I am trying to help an old client out and am willing to go through the hell that we all know as BK Suite. Does anybody have it or know where to find it? The bkcomp.com website went down a long time ago.

You're brave. I have this: When you insert you get this: The disc is in very good shape. If you think you can use it, I'll drop it in the mail to you Monday; If you promise to send it back (you never know).

OP, I probably have it in our archive software folder on the server. I can check on monday and email it to you.

I figured out how to do some basic modification to the setup using the on-screen display, but still wouldn't mind getting the software. It looks like the bksuite_install file is what I would need off the cd if you are willing to send it that way, but if you want to drop the disc in the mail I will PM you my address. Thanks!

Not sure if they have it, but ATI, who bought the assets of B&K also has the documentation.

At least as far as what I was trying to do. Takeover job. Customer was planning on selling house and didn't want to upgrade to HDMI. It was for a 300.1 component video switcher that had lost an output. There were plenty of unused outputs so I simply needed to move some connections and change some serial commands in a URC MSC-400. Only problem I had was the MSC was too old up upload the file, so I was to discover and test my own serial commands into the unit and completely reprogram the MSC. Guy said the EEPROMs in those were extremely flaky and if I started sending serial commands into it, no fault of my own, there was a good chance I could brick the whole thing and there are no repairs. I ended up getting the original installation company with the URC file to come out and take that problem child right back.

Hello Do you still have the software? I need to program my remote control for my B&K AVR-505 S2 receiver. I would greatly appreciate it, if you can email it to me. proffchaz@gmail.com
