Hi Guy's My name is Craig and I'm trying to figure out how to program my URC MX-450 I had purchased two years ago. The tech who sold me my Denon set up the remote and I had purchased a different TV, got frustrated and rest to factory setting, wish would have wrote down codes on the Denon unit. It's going to take little time however hopeful to learn more as time goes. Thanks Craig

It's a standalone remote and for simple setups a fairly straightforward configuration. If you have several devices, there are other, better ways of setting up the controller, with macros, sequences, etc.

I used to say stuff like that. Then I became a vet and realized how wrong I'd been.

Everything about me is summed up on my intro. I'm completely hands on so I both admire and envy programmers like yourself. I simply don't have the patience for more than 3 lines of code LOL. Glad to be here though and TY for sparking the how do you do's.. Tony

I'll assume it is spam or a link to a virus for now.

Hello, my first day here.
I guess one of my dealers threw me under the bus by outing me to you guys.
So I'll be joining in where I can and offering what ever I can to all of you. I'm a DTV dealer that caters to Home Theater & Automation Dealers.
Basically I take all of the pain of dealing with DTV that your customers endure and make it a easy pain free experience for them and you.
I can service your DTV needs anywhere you are and I'll be posting some more to explain exactly what I do and how we both benefit from it.
Thanks Sandy

Hello Everyone, My name is Derek Webb. I am a new Technical Trainer at SnapAV. I have been with SnapAV for a little over 5 years now. All of that time was spent with the Tech Support Team(Technician and Supervisor). As a part of my new role as a Technical Trainer I am taking on some of the forums in this industry as a sort of community manager for SnapAV. I want to be a resource for all of you when you have questions or concerns about SnapAV products or even 3rd party products. If I cannot help you on here I will get you in touch with someone that can help you more in depth. You will still see interaction here from other category managers but I plan to be much more active. Post away and feel free to PM or email me if you would like. I expect some challenging questions from all of you. Derek Webb derek.webb@snapav.com

Hello all,
Long time reader. Ill try to be more active.
20 years in the biz.
I've met a few of you from the Chicago area over the years. Maybe a few others outside of Chicago.
Have a bit of knowledge of everything in the industry. More focused right now on Control 4 but still do a bit of URC. My Crestron days were 5+ years ago.
Looking forward to contributing a bit more.

Hello all,
My name is Mike and I'm very new to the CI world. I spent 16+ years in aviation selling cockpit avionics and spending my free time putting together my own A/V systems at home.
After years of being the guy all my friends and coworkers went to for advice on what to get and then supporting the after purchase installs, I decided it was time to make a change. I look forward to learning and eventually contributing to the knowledge base here!
