I've tasted some very expensive wines. It proved to me, without doubt, price does NOT guarantee it will be liked lol. I will say the $500 i TASTED (not bought nor even had a full glass, but a third) was indeed very good. But was it 50 times better than a $10 bottle? Oh HELL no. Thats how I justify value. so if a $30 bottle is 3 times as good as $10, then its a value and it worth the purchase. If not, well then,,,,And there are actually some good $10 bottles! Ive never had a $100 bottle I thought was worth it.

My fav is still Cooper & Thiefs, red blend. Aged in whiskey barrels. $20-$29. I dont budget that for my everyday wine lol. I stick with Apothic for $9 for that and its pretty damn good. Particularly 2016 but its not the same since then but actually still my go to.

Most often heard quote:

“Can I get your Amazon password so your Prime videos work?”

“I don’t think they ever gave me one.”

Uh, OK.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Picked up some junk at an auction today.

But it's all good since I have some of it already sold.

Some days you just have to pull a rabbit out of a hat.

Using a Metra 5x1 HDMI splitter to keep an old playroom TV usable, the Metra remote would not change inputs. The one Metra entry in the URC database did not work. So I started fumbling around, and discovered the Monoprice switcher worked on input 1 and 2 only, but other codes marked b-3 and c-4 did input up and down.

I still believe in miracles.

Met with the financial planner.

Things are looking up (for him anyway).

Y'all have a good financial advisor/planner?

Bought a 49” Samsung curved monitor for my pc. Went cheap and got the $750 version. Not sure I’m going to keep it.

I've always wondered about the curved screen on a desk. I suppose it's one of those things that would take a while to get used to, if you could get used to it, lol!

In my opinion it would be handy for presbyopic eyes when using large 4K monitors.

I wish Verizon did not suck as much as they do. Best signal coverage in my state but their support is awful.

Support is has really disappeared in the last 20 years, with everything. The only exception I can think of is Moen.

I switched to Spectrum Mobile a couple of months ago.  Went from $185 a month for my wife's and my phone down to $59-$73 (my phone is unlimited, my wife's is on the by the gig plan, so it varies).  She would have to go over by 2 GB before it makes sense to put her on unlimited so for now we roll the dice.  It works on the Verizon Network, so we have the same coverage as before, just way cheaper.

I got really tired of walking out into the middle of the street to make a call when using Verizon, so I switched to T-Mobile.

What a world of difference in service AND support. Plus my cost has gone way down.
