FYI, the TSU9600 software installs and uses a font named Pronto.ttf. As a result, you may want to backup your current Pronto.ttf file prior to installing the 9600 software as the font size is a bit smaller compared to the older font.

Characters 254 and 255 in this font also coincide with the NG font and are the Dolby Double D and DTS symbols respectively.

I just upgraded to the 9600, and installed the software on a computer that had ProntoEdit 4.0. I have a problem!!!

The font does NOT display on any of the screens, all text boxes are just blank. I'm assuming that it's a missing font problem, but I can't find the font. I uninstalled ProtoEdit 4 first, and even tried re-installing Pronto Edit Professional, same result.

Any ideas? I'm relegated to using a different computer meanwhile.

Reboot after install. If that still does not work, navigate to C:\windows\fonts and double-click pronto.ttf.

I have Pronto professional, ProNG & EditNG loaded on my computer, I did not change the file name when I installed the PRO version as like many I downloaded and installed the first day before this problem was known. I have 20 plus 7500 files and have opened and worked on a couple of them with no problems??? Or am I just not aware of it? Is the problem that obvious???

Best Regards, Joe

I went into Windows/Fonts and deleted the old pronto.ttf font, then re-installed EditPro. All is well.
