How do I add .png files to the Graphics Gallery?
PEP3 will not allow me to drag and drop a file onto the Building Blocks Gallery Section?

Welcome to the forum. For future reference and to help others, setting a descriptive title in your thread aids with searches.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the location of the gallery on your system.

For me on Windows 7, the 'Images' folder is here.

C:\ProgramData\Philips\ProntoEdit Professional 2\Gallery\Images

From there, you will find folders which are categories that you can see in PEP. You can create your own categories folder and then add your images to that folder.

Note that you may need to restart PEP2/3 once you do this.

I did that and relaunched, but the new folder did not show up?

Note I added a new folder "Gary" and relaunched (twice) the PEP3 app, not there.

You specifically asked for Panels into the Gallery yet you created a folder under the 'Buttons' section.

For Buttons to show up, you need 2 images, a _P (Pressed) and an _R (Released) image.

For example, there are 2 files for CableTV under the folder:
C:\ProgramData\Philips\ProntoEdit Professional 2\Gallery\Buttons\Activity Clean Medium

These 2 files make up a button named CableTV in the Buttons->Activity Clean Medium category.

CableTV_P.png
CableTV_R.png

Not sure if Buttons allow file formats other than .png so if you don't have .png, may also not work

If you want Panels or Images, you need to create your category folder under the 'Images' folder and there I think you can populate with .png, .bmp, or .jpg

Thanks!

I just needed the "R" and the "P" files. Worked great, thanks so much Lyndel.
