I just got myself a new MacBook with an M1 (Apple Silicon) CPU. VMware also recently released Fusion 13 which is able to run Windows 11 ARM in a virtual machine on Apple Silicon. For completeness: Parallels does this too, but I don't have any experience with their recent versions.
So after getting Windows 11 ARM to run inside a VM (which requires a bit of tinkering and researching the web) I was able to install PEP3 (have not tried PEP2) without any larger issues. PEP3 launched just fine and after copying my TSU9800 config into the VM I was able to successfully sync it to my Pronto.
So, in case anyone is thinking about upgrading their system and is wondering if PEP3 will still be working - it does.
At this time, though, Win 11 ARM is only available as an Insider Preview build. From what I am able to tell after such short time, it runs fairly well, but it's not production-ready yet and you should be ready for quite a bit of troubleshooting.
