Has anyone figured out what the IR code is for LG TV's smart remote quick access function. Been unable to figure this one out. It uses the number keys 0-9 whereby if you hold them down it will launch an app directly eg Vudu, Hulu etc.

Ive think i have tried everything but have been unable to learn or design a long press successfully. Checked the IRDB database to no avail.

Hoping another person smarter than me has figured this out. Thanks in advance.

Blake,

Please post one of the codes you are trying to use and I will show you how to convert it into a repeat-only code, for which you then set the 'Duration' of the code in the Component Function tab of MyDatabase.

If you are interested in the format of a Pronto IR Code, there's a wonderful document loaded by Barry Gordon in the Classic Pronto Files Section entitled "Pronto Hex IR Format". It is a really good read and will help to better understand the changes I make to your IR code.

Regards,
Lyndel

Also note that in a Button in PEP1, PEP2, PEP3, if you put more than 1 action in the ActionList, it becomes a macro and no matter how long you hold said button, it will send the IR code only 1 time.

This is usually an issue where folks put a Delay 0.1s or a Sound Action in a button. When you do this, it only sends the code for the 'Duration' amount specified for the actual IR code in MyDatabase (PEP2 or PEP3).
