I am also having that "conflict" problem with my Logitech mouse/keyboard combo.

I am able to fix it by connecting both the TSU 9600 and the Logitech dongle into the USB hub of my monitor. I cannot connect to my TSU 9600 when the Logitech dongle is plugged directly into the computer (regardless of where the TSU is connected).

Maybe this "fix" would work with any USB hub?
