I am wondering if someone can tell me how I can get a "long press" function for my LG C9 Oled TV? I have it setup so that when I long-press a button it activates Netflix on button 1 and a long press on button 2 activates YouTube.

There is a dedicated Netflix button on the remote but the Pronto will not recognise the command. Is there a code that would do this?

Not sure at this point if the Oled requires an ultra-long IR code or if you are trying to make sure that a button on the Pronto is pressed and held for 2 seconds for example, to activate sending an IR code.

If you are looking for codes, do you happen to have the model of the TV?

The model number is LG OLED65C9PTA. It is a 2019 LG oled purchased in Australia. On the LG remote there is a dedicated Netflix button that the Pronto doesn't seem to be able to learn.

The LG remote has access to the Netflix, YouTube and other apps if you long press a numeric key that has been assigned to the corresponding numbered key.

If there is a way that the Pronto can emulate a long press of the LG remote it should be able to work.

If you can learn a code, then you can set the 'Duration' of the send to something other than default.

Have you tried using 'Raw Learn'?

No I haven't. Can you please explain how to do that and how to set the duration? Hopefully I can get this sorted.

You open up My Database, edit the component function for the IR code in the component in question and set the 'Duration'. You can only change the 'Duration' if you are viewing Component functions and select the IR code(function) you want to change the duration for.

You are a champion, I added in the delay and it works like a charm!

Post the actual code data from MyDatabase and I will see what it looks like to see if you can avoid using the Duration.

Thanks a lot for the work around info. Works great!
(Using a 1 sec delay with Pronto commands and 2 sec duration)

I need the same for my logitech harmony remote. Could you please post the pronto / hex commands for long press for 0-9?

Not sure the Duration approach works for Harmony. All we did was to use the Standard Pronto Hex code and then tell the remote to send it for minimum of 2 seconds.
