Have a new office workspace. There is a motorized screen that appears to be controlled by a Sompy IR1 which has disappeared. I have found the codes for this remote for the Pronto system- my question is what's the most cost effective remote I can purchase that I can convert/program with these codes? I'm not opposed from buying used- just figure if I have to buy a replacement remote I'd rather spend $ on a multiuse remote.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Depends on what you want. Color? Black And White? Screen Resolution? Scroll wheel?

All Philips remotes are discontinued so take your pick. I personally use the TSU9600 remotes and extenders. I had a 1st Gen Marantz RC5000i, then a Marantz RC9200, Then a Pronto TSU7000, then a TSU9600, TSU9400, and TSU9800.

For what you need, if you have a computer with an RS232 port, I'd recommend something as simple as a Philips TSU2000 (ProntoEdit) or the Marantz RC5000i (Touch Screen Setup). The only challenge you may have is finding batteries.

Note that almost any platform will take the Pronto Hex data as inputs.

If you were to post a Somfy code here that you got, I'm sure one of us will decipher and tell you which Philips remotes can support it natively.

URC also supports Pronto Hex but I don't think they publish their editor to the average consumer.

So I have ordered and received a TSU 2000/01.
USB to 3.5mm Serial cable with correct pinout and chipset is on the way.
I have this file-[Link: files.remotecentral.com] which appears to be a csv with the commands.
I also have this file - a ccf [Link: files.remotecentral.com] which has the remoted I'm looking to replicate as part of the larger file.

Is there wiki on how to edit the ccf file so that it is just the Sompy 103?

Thanks so much!
