Interestingly, both my 9800s developed the same problem at the same time (meaning the source of the problem is likely to be elsewhere). I reinstalled from the Win10 machine and neither worked AT ALL. After much gnashing and wailing I've gone back to a previous configuration using the Win7 machine and added the small additional functionality that I had lost - and order is restored in the universe, thankfully.

I'm going to try transferring the file to the Win10 machine and seeing whether it will download and work, or whether there is a fundamental issue. What puzzles me is that both 9800s seemed to work but then stopped at the same time.

Still, Bloodhound, the car aiming to break the world land speed record, uses a Windows 95 laptop for its 20 year-old Typhoon jet engine!

The file created in Win7 and transferred to the Win10 machine works perfectly having been re-loaded from the latter. I guess the next step is to alter the file in Win10 and reload once more to see what happens - don't have the patience (or need) to do that right now!
