Hoping someone might have run into this... and gotten around it!

I tried to install on a new PC and it got stuck, had to abort.

Now when I re-run the installer it first tries to uninstall and hangs at:

Execute: "C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\PEP2 Install 2.4.18.0\GalleryExport.exe" "C:\ProgramData\Philips\ProntoEdit Professional 2\Libraries" "C:\Users\xxxxxx\Documents\Pronto Projects\ProntoScriptLibraries 30-03-2019 8u07.gef" "V1__0__0__0"

GalleryExport.exe is where is should be.
Libraries is empty.
I see the .gef file but it seems to be named 8h07, not 8u07.

Any thoughts on how to get around this?

Also, If anyone has a 9400, I'd like one for a backup.

Thanks...

To close out this thread...

Before posting, I used the forum search tool and didn't come up with any results. I tried Google this morning and came up with this one. [Link: remotecentral.com]

I had the 'stuck at creating uninstaller' issue; the fix of stopping the database service seems to have worked for me too.

Yep had exactly the same problem.

+1 to stopping the database service before installing then restarting it after.
