Hi !
I'm thinking for controling pj JVC X500 over ethernet from Pronto remote 9400.
If I know I need prontoscript module ?
BTW - do I need hardware extender or only router, and wifi network to connect remote with router ?
I know Pronto is abandoned soft & hw, but is very hard calibrating pj with ir remote, from IP it will be easier :)

You don't need extender if the Projector is controlled via TCP/IP. If you have to connect RS-232, you will need an extender.

You have provided no details (protocol document, etc) so I cannot provide much assistance other than pointing you to the ProntoScript Developers Guide in the File Section.

You will want to start by reading up on TCPSocket class there and look at some of the Examples.

Hi !

Thank's for answer :)

Unfortunately, I'm not a programmer and learning Java for one module is a waste of time (I tried to get the messages in my language in the weather module, but I did not succeed, so I would rather not frolic in prontoscrip - I do not know, I do not know, I suspect that it is related to the language of fw alone, but it is offtop)

I have a document explaining LAN protocols on jvc projectors, if you want it I can send it to you.

If you looked at this pdf you may advise me or best to come up with a simple skeleton module for communication - obviously not free :)
I only need me to access advanced settings in the projector simultaneously (Hi RGBW and Low and Gamma levels as well as the auxiliary pair).
Any help will be useful :)

BTW JVC abandoned his ios app for controling pj from iphone/ipad so I looking another options.
