Hi,
Hope everyone is having a good Christmas, this is something I've wanted to see if it was possible for a while now.
I would like to be able for the control panels in my house to know some of the same variables, HVAC Temp, Function, ECT. Is there anyway for these devices to share a variable so they can all use it?
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks Luke

I recommend a web server and writing a simple Java Servlet where you can push settings and then read them later. Note that it is still possible to encounter a race condition where one remote has read the value after another remote sets the same value.
If you only need on/off state and have an RFX9600, you can couple the relays of an RFX9600 to the power sense ports of the same extender and use that to maintain on/off or true/false state of up to 4 variables.
If it is just HVAC values, how about having each remote read from the same thermostat, etc... ???

I have 5 RFX9600's and 4 TSU9400's on a separate network. I can easily add a PC to mix.
Similar to what luke2008 suggested, it would be helpful if I was able to save current settings/status from one TSU9400 to a central PC, then retrieve it from other TSU9400's throughout the house. For instance, I have many "setGlobal" variables which keep track of what equipment is on what TV, is the Screen in the Basement Up or Down, etc, etc.
Has anyone ever coded a push & retrieval of information to a PC (or really any data store)?
