Access is probably dependent upon certification levels...

Well, I am only Level 1 and I can see the link.

sound to me like basically the distributors collectively fronted the cash to get the GUI developed and want to verify with the resellers for access and use.

kinda good idea, i hope they develop more.

Nobody knows the password?

I contacted my distributor and he knows nothing about it, then I contacted Pronto customer service and they did not know anything either.

Guys,
sorry if I'm being a ruhtard, but I'm logged into the professional area

[Link: pronto.philips.com]

and don't see any incentive link at the bottom of the menu.

Upper left I see
You are Here: Home > Professionals
Overview
Certificates
Ref material
Training Info

In the middle are some links for online training schedule, certification program and news.

On the upper right are Useful Links including
Pronto Product Portfolio
Pronto Support Tools
Wher to buy pronto?

And bottom right a link to the dedicated prontoscript area.

Very upper right
+Professionals
+My Profile
+My Products
+Logout
+Unsubscribe.

I found it under "Incentive" on the left.... You can download, but the files are password protected. What a pain... Why would they do something like that? SJ

in an attempt to give you an intelligent answer, i started googling around at other manufactures custom templates (crestron) and saw that some are rather expensive. It would be nice to have a some more details but from what i have seen, if 50 dollars too low ball of an idea?

to be honest, i had really hoped this would be something that was offered for free like the plugin library.

I must find out how many hours it took to do the Gui , but im guessing it took more than a few weeks... but then good Gui's alway do, $50 would be too low , ive just paid $300 for a set of Button graphics and logos (around 500 ) i think this was very good value.

At the end of the day Time is Money!

That's what I was hoping... If anyone wants to PM me the password... Otherwise, I could download a zipper PW cracker and make a go at it :) Frankly, I was just going to try it out, but certainly would not pay.... SJ

You have to remember that some people make there living out of Apps and Gui's

If you want Products and Apps with back up and support then someone has to pay. Im sure you would not work for free!

I totally agree, but not sure I agree with Phillips putting them on their site. Just seems a bit different than other things they have available.... Thanks. SJ

the Lev1 Lev 2 was ment for dealer/installers only, in some countries this is the case, so the general pronto users dont have access to that section of the Pronto site so would not get to see it.

For what it is worth, I got the password from my dealer.... I suggest that if anyone REALLY wants it, give your dealer a call (and please don't PM me asking for it ;) )..... Frankly, I still don't understand why the extra steps vs. just having it on their site for folks with access. Oh well, their decision.... SJ
