Looking to replace the the second 3000/3500 that has died. For the price you pay you would hope they would last a little longer then they do. But I'm looking here for a possible replacement and really trying to understand the the reason/purpose or benefit of the scripts thing as I'm looking at the 9300 but alot of comments are yeah but it doesn't do scripts.
The 3000 did everything I needed and looking at the software it looks like it can all be copied exactly on the 9300. So I'm really trying to understand the big deal. What cool things can it get me?
Thanks

Without RFX9600 extender you cannot do Power Sense which is in effect conditional behavior for power state. However, with scripting (with our without RFX9600 extender) you gain the benefit of what are known as "variables" through the use of System Globals that in effect aids in solving complex problems.
I personally prefer the form factor of the 9300 over the 9400. However, I like the larger screen on the 9600.
