Hi guys,

Just ordered one of these as the price was right and the interface looks great....

Wondering if anybody has done any connectivity/communications with their TSU9400 remote?

I'm ok to learn the remote values, just wondering if anybody is interested in connections like has been done for the squeezeboxes (ie, prontosqueeze).

Anyway, any feedback on the device is welcomed.

I have the interface in plan, but have not achieved to start the plan yet.

Forget the remote values. The xtreamer can be controlled via it's web server with an iphone/ipod/ipad or any smart phone/computer.

Pick WireShark and look for the codes that it uses for the communication. If you don't know how to do this I can help you with the comm, but don't have the time to write the interface. Let me know.

About the device, it has it's flaws (which are listed on forums of the official page, but none are really problematic in general, except it's crying fan) but overall performs great, especially for the price it has. Network streaming works great (you have to stream via wire the HD movies), overall I'm extremely satisfied with it.
The only flaw that it has in a centrally controlled home theater - it must be turned on via ir, as it does not support WOL. But then all can be done via IP, two way comm.

great, thanks for that..

I've actually been tied up fixing a forum that I run that was hacked over the past 2 days, all whilst traveling and trying to do my day job!

I might get some time this weekend to start to use it properly. Can't wait for the new firmware to get the interface a bit better..

I'll just probably learn the codes at the beginning as I have a RFX and can plug a IR sender directly on to it to control...

Would love to be able to get something down the line like prontosqueeze, happy to pay somebody if they can achieve it :-)
