I was just wondering if PS could allow me to change the function of the firm OK button depending on what page i am on within the activity?

In my home activity I have 5 pages..
Watch Foxtel
Watch TV
WAtch DVD
Play Wii
Listen To Radio

As i press cursor up or down, it basically pages jumps between those 5 pages and highlights one of the 5 activities. I want to use the firm ok button to then launch the activity depending on which page is selected. Was just wondering if PS could be used to change the function of the firm ok button depending on what page is running...

Yes, all keys are fully customizable with PS.

You can do it using at system level, and then

widget("PS_OK").onPress = function () {
var currentPage = Page();

swrtich (currentPage.tag) {
case "Watch Foxtel":
do stuff
break;

case "Watch TV":
do stuff
}

etc. You ca use the age label instead of the page tag or any other approaches.

bambam_101,

In addition to BluPhenix's approach (watch out for the typo's), you could accomplish the same effect without ProntoScript by defining five "Home" activities. On each of these "Home" activities the PageUp and PageDown buttons would jump to the next or preceding page in the circular chain. On each page, the OK button would jump to the appropriate device activity.

In any case, the basic keys, such as VolumeUp, VolumeDown, Mute, ChannelUp, ChannelDown, etc. on the respective "Home" pages should control the appropriate device.
