I was wondering if anyone could help me with this issue. I have my remote connecting to my WIFI network via WEP. Everything works fine accept there seems to be a lag from when I hit the button (command) to when it actually happens. Also, its 100x's worse if I pick the remote up after some time. (ie: after the screen shuts off) It takes even longer for the command to execute. For example, If I hit the play button on my MCE controller. The actual file starts to play approx five seconds later, sometimes longer. I have a brand new router and all my other wireless devices connect and function with no issues except for this minor issue with the remote. If anyone knows how to improve my remotes performance over WIFI please feel free to share!!

Sounds like a wifi drop, and long time for connecting.

Try to loose the WEP and see how it works.

If you use the dhcp, you can try to increaset eh DHCP lease time in the router settings. And/or you can try to increase the Wireless timeout in the network settings of the remote.
