If its something like this:

www.axium.co.nz/Manuals/AX-KPC2.8_cutsheet.pdf

It would be great. I have two TSU9600's and still would like to have a single gang control in at least a couple of rooms.

I am not in the habbit of carrying around a TSU9600, however that is what I currently do. I have my living room and dining room. On the 2nd floor masterbed and office and an outside patio.

With multiple users its even more important to have some fixed controls.

On a follow up point and I dont know the answers but Lyndel may,

are the Bezels inter-changeable?, I really hope so.

also i noticed the battery icon there too???, and does it take PoE?, no doubt questions that will be answered eventually.

Ok good, though they'd come up with something much more stylish, it looks like the tspro of niles anyhow hopefully they will come with sleek faceplates :D

but something is missing.. the processor.. when is that coming out? EOY?

im assuming the TSW still has a battery to maintain state tracking in the event of a power cut. Though i dont think the processor was at infocomm. probably be announced later in the year if not early next. :-)

Looks interesting. Price of the 9400, reasonable. Nice move philips.

Now we just need a real control central and then we're off to the stars!

Don't know about the bezel being interchangeable.

With regard to battery, I suspect that it will be like TSU9800 and require RJ45 and 2-pin Phoenix connector for power.

I hope that it sports PoE. Burying power inside a wall is a building code nighmare.

Why would you need POE in a device that is supposed to be always on, is integrated into a wall with fixed power wiring and is the initiator of the control communication (user uses the TSW, not some other device to control the TSW) ?

Or am I just getting something wrong?

Buzz is referring to burying a wall-wort AC/DC adapter inside the wall to power it. It is against code in most places as usually only permanent wiring is allowed in the wall (no plug in adapters).

ok
seen this today, way too small I think.. cmon pronto such a small screen for around £800 that's about $1400usd but i think it would be $800 in the usa..
the distributors told me it should be out around september, the processor coming later this year "I think" (way too many info to grab from the show so i forgot some of it" errr ye that's about it..

the philips dynalite script was on show aswell, it has some cool option where as you can change the dmx colour of the wall washers with the scrolling wheel of the pronto and adjust the colour to your preference with the wheel.. though that was pretty cool..
