There are modules available on the pronto site, but it seems to me like your asking if your camera is using mpeg4 or jpeg images. Most cameras use both with jpg images as the standard

Daniel,

You have asked for information without providing details as to what camera you have (make and model).

That's the $1M question here.

HI guy's,

Sorry Lyndel is correct. the camera itself is a standard camera that plugs into a BNC/Rca input. i however am thinking of purchasing the ness security 1 channel ip camera server. here is a link :

[Link: ness.com.au]

I would then link to stream it into my remote. The ip server can do Mjpeg and also Mpeg4. IN my system i have the TSU9600 & RFX9600 extender.

Danieljgor,
I have an Axis video server that works too, but it is a very expensive product to use...You can't just go and buy 5 of those here in the UK.
I can't seem to find any links on cost, etc about the Ness device. Can you possibly let me know how much it costs and where to get it from?

Home & Vision,
a lot of people (including myself) are still trying to find a cost effective solution on how to integrate video servers. There is a server from Aviosys that does 4 channels and it is cheap too. Nobody came up with a solution though.

Is your modified script something you are willing to pass on to forum members? It might deserve its own thread; people want to watch live tv on their prontos!

Jaycar also sell a 4ch which can interface into pronto but if you want to use four cameras it quads the screen so the image is pretty small. Better of using 1 per camera and then you can have full screen image of each cam.

Any server will work as long as you no how to query it. The Ness one and the Jaycar one both use the same so it may be a common thing.

If anyone wants a copy of the script with the query line in it email me and i will send it through.

danieljgor.... Ness server has a different code than the one you posted. See:
[Link: ness.com.au]

I have sent the script to your email. Let me know how you get on

Hi Doberman,
I have the Aviosys.
For me looks it also that Jaycar is the same.
But I could not bring it running, because of the missing script.
My other thread - where I asked for the modification of the Panasonic script did not continue and brought a result.

Hi Home and vision,
did I understood correct that you have a script that is working with Jaycar / Aviosys. If yes, is it possible to get a copy or to by a licence?

Thank you in advance
