I have just migrated to Pronto Edit Professional V2.

With my 9600 configuration I get 2 errors on download for which I cannot find and fix.

"The error message is:

Binary configuration file generation message log:

Action removed from key action list (activity = 'Foxtel Channels', key = '')
Action removed from key action list (activity = 'Foxtel Channels', key = '')

Number of Errors: 2."

I cannot find any key with no label (i.e. "). Also not sure what 'key action list' is.

Can someone provide some guidance. Thnaks

p.s. Probably so obvious I cannot see the wood for the trees.

Could you mail/pm me the config, I'll have a look for you right away

(can't name what's wrong like this)

I have a similar one:

Jump removed from key action list (activity = 'System', key = 'Navigate')

and I can't for the life of me find a 'Navigate' button. :)

Checked your config, but damn that's one chaotic config, seems to me you gotta get used to PEP2 :P, anyways it seems to me there are 2 keys that are not labeled and lead to the foxtel activity. Hope this helps a little (after insight in your config)

Nerieru thank you for your comments. Converting to V2 was a dirty exercise me for me. Your summation of the problem matches mine - now to find those problems..... I am thinking of deleting pages one by one until the problem disappears then I know nwhat page the problem is on - then rebuild that page......

You can always edit the XML file inside the XCF. In the past I've simply used Winzip to expand to folder structure (Bitmaps folder with images) and ConfigEdit.xml. You then use Winzip to rezip preserving the path inside zip for 'Bitmaps' folder.

Lyndel thanks for your comments. I have fixed the problem but may take a look at the old file anyway.

Decided it was easier to create a new activity, copy each page from the offending activity into the new activity doing a download test each time. I then deleted the old activity and renamed the new one to the same name as the old one. It fixed the problem. A few jumps here and their to fix - in the end only took 20 mins or so.

It seems that in migrating from V1 to V2 of Prontoedit two virtual buttons were created (ghosts or what ever you might call them). Anyway problem fixed.

my head about this "navigate" button.

I copied the .xcf to a new file, with a .zip extension, and looking in the xml file. There was a section with ActionList Id="1204" and Jump Id="1981" in the system activity. That actionlist and jump don't exist in the rest of the XML. Deleting this section, rezipping the file and renaming back to .xcf has made this issue go away. I have no idea where this phantom hardkey was defined from, but it's cured now. :)

Chris.
