Hi all,

1,
I'm using iMerge Sound server with my pronto TSU9600. I need using hard button like mute, Vol+, Vol-. When I'm in iMerge Music server a need control volume in second system. For control this I want to use hard button VOL+/-. Problem is that when I wrote ProntoScript in hard button to control volume system it doesn't work. ProntoScript consist with link(link was something like this //CF.widget("3","LINK3","M3").executeActions();// ) to panel in hide page where was RS232 code to my device which is for controlling volume.
When I'm using link without prontoscript it's work but I need using logic with if(){ }.
Does anybody know the answer?

2,
Second problem is, when pronto is in sleep mode and I press hard button which I'm using to control some device for example on/off hard button. The code is sent for example zone is turn on or off but pronto screen is still dark. I'd like know how can I do with this hard button this: When pronto is in sleep mode and when hard button is pressed the screen will turn on but nothing else happen.

Thanks a lot.

Karol,
1. You can't add Prontoscript to the modules in the software - RadioRa / Imerge / Escient etc. It seems to be disabled.
2. In system settings, you can turn firm keys and cursor keys to 'turn display on only'.

Your only choice here would be to use something like RFX9600 and Power Sense/Input ports and use conditional IR code branching via Links.

Prontoscript in hard/firm keys is not possible as these built-in modules don't initialize the ECMAScript (Javascript) engine upon entry.

There is a beta-version for a new script at philips site which is intended for their videoservers, but the audio part works for S3000 series as well.
This script is vastly improved over the one that integrated in the editor.

And its edit-able.

Hi Chaps, Just want to check something for sure, is the new two way interface on the Pronto site (Version 1.4) compatible with the S3000? On the prontoscript site, it says for MS5000/MS1/MP1000.
This version looks awesome and has browsing by covers which is exactly what I want to achieve.

Obviously I am only interested in the music control and browsing side of things and will delete the references to video.

Its not fully compatible with the S3000 current firmware. There is a beta FW which supports the new script. The installer has to communicate with imerge to obtain it.

NB the beta FW is NOT compatible with Speakercraft 2 way communication.

Damn, I heard yesterday that Imerge are winding up their business due to lack of investment.. This is bad news as they had by far the best control via pronto for a media server =(

This is not the full story, and most likely not the end of it.
