Hello, I am using a GE universal remote with my Samsung TV and it works fine with one device alone. I paired it using the programming guide here: [Link: remotecodesportal.com]The issue arises when I try to program the remote to my JBL soundbar. I am not only failed to connect it to soundbar but also my remote settings get restored to default and I am unable to control my TV as well. Looking for solution

Likely, you'll need to use the Master Volume Feature described on page 10 of the manual.
