Hey All,
Lutron Caseta is only compatible with Harmony remotes through the Smartbridge as I understand from Lutron tech support. I assume that the harmony communicates with the Smartbridge through the network. I thought URC had a similar box (for example if you did not use a MRF260 or MRF350) that could offer control over a network. I am curious what technically allows Caseta to only recognize Harmony remotes and vice versa. The gentleman from tech support just said it is a "closed end system."
P.S. I decided to keep my MX-950 and slowly build out the Caseta system independently.
Thanks!
Pete

URC's answer it thru their MRX-8 processor (or MRX-10/20). If you need a hard button remote, look for a TRC model.
