Hi All

I have been trying to get the IR Remote code for a Mitsubishi air conditioner SEZ-KD71VAQR2.TH
I would like to use them with the on controls IP2IR and eventually with the Fibaro Home Automation system.
I have been trying unsuccessfully to capture codes for this AC but after 4 days have only been able to capture the "ON" string. I would like to capture all commands but it is proving VERY DIFFICULT to capture. If anyone can help I would be truly grateful.

The "ON" String that I have successfully captured is:

sendir,1:3,1,37993,1,1,122,65,16,46,16,45,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,45,16,15,16,14,17,45,16,45,17,14,16,46,16,14,17,14,16,46,16,45,16,15,16,45,17,45,16,15,16,14,17,45,16,15,16,14,17,45,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,45,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,45,16,15,16,45,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,46,16,45,16,46,16,45,16,46,16,45,16,15,16,45,17,45,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,45,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,46,16,45,16,46,16,45,16,46,16,45,16,15,16,45,17,14,16,46,16,45,16,46,16,45,16,15,16,15,16,14,17,14,16,15,16,15,16,45,16,15,16,15,16,45,16,46,16,45,16,46,16,14,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,45,17,45,16,24050x0D0x0A

this is in the Global Cache format and works with Fibaro HA:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would like all the codes but just the "OFF" would be greatly appreciated. I have tried converting from the HEX codes I can find on this site but none seem to work.

I have tried contacting Mitsubishi Australia but they have been VERY UNHELPFUL. They seem to be only interested in selling their $400 WiFi module and have told me they will not give me their codes... even though I was able to capture the "on" string by fluke maybe. I would like to use it in the Fibaro Home Automation System that I have installed in my home. The "on" string works well.

Many thanks

John

See this link for an explanation of the format of the Mitusbishi Air Conditioner codes.

Your capture has only 136 bits, while it should have 144 bits sent twice.  However, your capture does conform to the Kaseikyo IR format, and starts with the Mitsubishi OEM identifying numbers, so I'm quite sure that the linked document does correspond to your unit.

I can offer no help, but I'd sure like to learn more about this Sex Conditioner...
