I have a chance to get a bit of kit at a good discount as it is missing the original remote, no problem I thought, if all else fails I will use IRanalysises to generate a ccf of the whole code set and take it from there.

After a bit of digging I find that IRanalyser does not have the protocol which is

Protocol.name=Nokia36

Any bright ideas most welcome.

Barf's IrScrutinizer will export in Pronto Classic format and does know about Nokia 36.  Use the Generate tab and the Export button.  For a more advanced setup use the Export Tab.

I missed the 36 in Nokia36.  Of course, if you had included a link to the source of "Protocol.name=Nokia36", I would have recognized my own user name, and maybe been a little quicker on the uptake.

We don't know the correct format of this IR protocol.  In fact, the "Nokia" series of protocols are actually from the Philips RCMM family, and the device, subdevice, etc numbers the community assigned are different to Philips' usage.  Regardless, you should be able to make the following work:

Add these 4 lines to IrpProtocols.ini (in theIrSrutinizer folder)

[protocol]
name=Nokia36
irp={36k,msb}<164,-276|164,-445|164,-614|164,-783>(412,-276,D:8,S:8,T:1,D:7,X:4,F:8,164,^100m)+ [D:0..255,S:0..255,F:0..255,T:0..1,X:0..15]
EFC_translation=MSB

Assuming you're working with the Sagecom RTI90/95, put 38 in the D field, 224 in the S field and enter X=0 in Additional Parameters.

Many thanks (again),

Before I do that, does your post imply that the Sagem 90/95 series use the same remote ? If so I have the codes for the 90, but am thinking of getting the 95 series ?

Well, my previous post was supposed to have a link in it, but I've been having trouble getting this website to remember the links.  I've edited my above post to have (I hope) working link.
That thread contains a statement that the RTI90 and RTI95 use the same IR codes, but I have no direct knowledge myself.

Many thanks again 3FG.

I used to use JP1 alot and so had look at hi-fi remote, I found upgerades for the 90 series and the 95 series and they had defferent protocls (Protocol.name=NEC1 (No Repeats) and (Protocol.name=Nokia36) so I assumed that they were not compatiable, but with your help I am OK either way.

Thanks again.
