This is my first post and I hope I have it in the correct section. I have an Insignia tv and the remote quit working. I had a Universal remote by GE 24944 and am trying to program it. I still have instuction book so I found a sight at jasco products that listed all the 4 digit codes to use. I have tried these and none work. Next I tried clicking the on/off button until tv turned off...then pressed enter like instuctions say. It turned off....but when I try to turn tv on...nothing happens. I also tried the Code identification using the blinking to find out code. I get 1..3..6 and the light goes out before I can get the fourth number. I used those nubers but it doesn't work either..Can anyone help....or do I need to try to purchase a new Universal remote?
