I have the same issue with my Panasonic Plasma TV. None of the codes provided by Bose as part of the software work. The same is true for other devices like the cable/PVR box. It has been driving me crazy since day one I installed the unit (2 years ago) since I have to use various remotes to control different devices.

I have contacted Bose technical support on several occasions about this and they sent me an udpated software. Unfortunately, it did not help and made it worse. Just the other day, I called again and when I was explaining my issue the tech stated that there is anothe update to the softare and they will sent it to me. I am not holding my hopes up that this will reslove the issue.

I have also purchased 2 Logitech remotes (harmony one and 510) and neither remote seem to work with the Lifestyle system. Initially, I purchased the Harmony one and upon programing the remote it controlled all devices flawless (TV, Bose, CableBox, Paystation 3 with IR adapter) but it stopped working. Have not changed any setting on the remote other than, on occasion, I have updated the remote when I added devices for control. The Harmony One has stopped controlling the Bose only. All other devices work fine. Also this issue appears intermittent and on occassion the remote does turn the Bose receiver on. I purchased the Harmony 510 thinking that maybe something is wrong with the Harmony One. Unfortunately, the same issue persists with this remote as well.

Over the last few weeks none of the Logitech remotes control the Bose and the Bose remote does not control any of the other devices.

I contacted both Bose and Logitech technical support but neither party has been of too much help in resolving the issues. Each maintain that their sytem has been set-up properly and should work. The operative word is "should" but it does not.

When I mentioned to the Bose technical support tech about the recently updated software and the lack of ability to use the Bose remote to control the Panasonic TV or Cable box he had no answer. I provided him the model number of the TV and he guided me through the set-up and the code he had for the brand of TV was the 1st one in the list. Unfortunately, it did not work. Upon reviewing the software version 02.02.02 he siad the there is a newer one.
The fact that the Bose remote has not been able to control the TV from day one, I don't think will change much with the new softare.

Bose in my opinion is a highly over rated product that does not deliver what an average product for 1/3 the price does.

If anybody has a solution to the Logitech remote control issues, any help would be greatly appreciated.
