I have two DirecTV receivers (different models) , one over the other. Both respond to the same RC signals.

I need to know with what to block the IR signal window of one of them so that sending the RC signals will only be processed by one of them. I have tried aluminum, wood, ceramic and paper, but thave not worked.

Besides setting them physically apart, which is not easy for several reasons, it doesn't always solve the problem, and it is not very comfortable.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

you must be covering the wrong spot, or not a big enough cover.
