Hi guys. I had a major disaster a while back whilst installing a new SATA drive. I found that on copying my files over I has lots of files that were corrupted ie digital photos and alas my ccf files. At the same time my ipaq battery expired taking my sole good ccf copy with it. On looking at my old files the ccf's are all the right size but when opened in Tonto come up empty and simply can't be opened in ProntoEdit giving a "File is not a valid RC configuration" error message. I'd be happy to send a copy of the ccf to anyone who thinks they may be able to rescue/recover it for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated as a lot of hours went into the files and I'd hate to have to recreate the wheel again.

Have you tried running it through CCF Compiler/Decompiler? [Link: remotecentral.com]

Hi Daniel.
Thanks for the response. Downloaded the prog but no luck. Decompiler cannot load the file saying it's not a valid CCf (same error as ProntoEdit). Funny that Tonto loads the file albeit with no screens. Strange. May just have to go back to the old drawing board :-((

Incidentally here's the log
----------------------------------------------------------------
Loading "D:\My Documents\CCF\04 03 29 Rob.ccf" CCF file
Bad CCF Header
Cannot load "D:\My Documents\CCF\04 03 29 Rob.ccf" CCF file.
"D:\My Documents\CCF\04 03 29 Rob.ccf" is not a valid CCF file.

I'm still open to any ideas
Thanks
