Hi,

I just got an old Pioneer micro component system, when a friend upgraded to a new system. The main problem is that the remote control is totally not functional, so I was hoping I could get codes or a PDB file for Omniremote to control it.

I appreciate any help at all at this point... anyone with Omniremote codes for ANY pioneer receiver might help me!

The exact models of the components are:

A-P510 Stereo Amplifier
GR-P510 Sound Image Controller
F-P710 Synthesizer Tuner

The most important functions that I am looking for is:

Power On/Off (on the A-P510)
Volume (on the A-P510)
Input/Device selection (handled from the GR-P510)

Additional functions on the GR-P510 (such as EQ preset buttons, etc.) would be appreciated, but not as important as the other functions.

Have you tried the codes from any other pioneer device? Usyally they don't change much. That's how I got mine, since nobody has my equiment. Actually, I get the pronto codes and follow the procedure by omniremote to export the codes into my palm. It works great.

I have a Pioneer A-P710 with tuner, CD, Tape, Amplifier and Equalizer. I also have a problem with the remote control unit.
Few functions are available from the remote i just bought from a vendor here in town. I ended up having two after buying a second one(was thinking it was faulty)
If you want it I can get the unit that will give you the simple functions you mentioned above.
Could somebody know of any places I could buy one?
