Hi, I was wanting to be able to network movies/video, audio, internet and gaming throughout my home. This would be across about 5 rooms altogether. A Cat 6A connection is available in every room so a good medium is already in place. There is also wireless g available throughout the house. After reading about HTPC and the possibilities there, I was wondering if one well equipped HTPC would be enough to feed all the rooms in the house or would I need multiple HTPCs throughout my home to do the job? Any suggestions? Thanks

A late answer, yes... but I think the question is what you plan on "feeding".
If you mean trying to do multi-room movie playback, gaming and music throughout your house all based on a single computer generating that audio/video output... that's not going to happen - at least not at a more sophisticated level than that computer doing one thing at a time and then you using a A/V distribution system to send it to different rooms.
If you mean storing movie and music files to play back on other devices in other rooms, then you want a "media server" (or a file server / NAS). You'll need a player box in each room, but as long as you only care about media files, they can be had for quite cheap these days.
