Check out Flirc
https://flirc.tv/ . I have one sitting in a draw that I havent played with yet (for my Amazon Fire) but it should get the job done for you. It's on Amazon and it's fairly inexpensive.
I have a client that uses a WD-TV for his "ripped" movies on a NAS backup. its pretty cool and customizable for the cheap of it, but I'm not too into the whole media storage device. Seen too many come and go and none of which did an amazing job without being driven into the ground by lawyers.
