Dear all,
I just got a TSU 7500 (in fact the European model RSU 990). I am programming it and by the way I really prefer it to the Harmony. In the system page, I put my own picture background, then I add button with bitmaps.... No matter what I do, my buttons are transparent. I have TV channel logos on many pages set to no transparency but they are all transparent in the TSU 7500
Could someone help me to have my buttons plain ?
Thank you
Bruno

I dont really know bruno, i dont use pronto software. One thing to look at is to make sure that your buttons are set to the size of the button graphic. What i mean is lets say your graphic is 50X50 and the button is 40X40. With some software i have found that the button looks fine in software but when loaded to the remote it wont show the graphic because the button isnt physically large enough. Some software will re-size the button to fit the graphic. Some software wants you to do it with a re-size tool and some software forces you to go in an manually set pixel size.

Thanks a lot but this happens to all graphics whatever the size they are. Everything seems to be like "greyed". I have put text as image and it is very difficult to read them, same for TV channel logos. I guess there is one setting tat I have not understood well.

You can send me your file and I will take a look. My address is in my profile. You can also read the Philips Pronto Next Generation FAQ for help. Cheers Jason

Have the buttons got any commands/delays/actions defined? If not, then the button image is displayed transparent with thin lines running across it. Is this what you're seeing?

Thanks to all and especially Jason to propose to help me directly. But Zap you're a genius. My problem was exactly the one you described. In fact I designed my Pronto and then wanted to attribute the correct actions to all buttons. I just try and the given buttons are now visible. Again thanks to you two but where in the manual does it say that buttons are greyed until you have an action for it? Good afternoon (well at least for Europe forumers) Cheers,
Bruno

I can't say that I've ever read the manual :).
If you initially want to see how the graphics look and assign commands later, you could always just add a delay, this will also have the effect of making the button visible.

Again thanks to you two but where in the manual does it say that buttons are greyed until you have an action for it? I don't think it does. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong before I realized I just had not assigned any action to the button. David
