Just watch as Moscow Mitch does a complete flip-flop from his stand when Obama put up a nominee for the SCOTUS and got blocked. Soon another RW nut job will sit on the court making them the majority. Soon after we will be living in a real-life Handmaid's Tale.

I'm surprised that we have not already had a nominee pushed forward.

They are so slow. At this writing the push to nominate has finally started.

FYI, this is not new.

29 times we have had a vacancy in the final year of a president’s term.
29 times we have had a nomination.

When the president and the senate parties match, the nominee has been confirmed about 80% of the time.

When the president and the senate are opposing parties, the nominee has been rejected about 80% of the time.

This is not new territory by any means.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
